This personal experience of how miraculous energy works in Soul Healing, was recorded earlier in my breast cancer testing phase when I was still in New Mexico. I describe the powerful way soul healing worked for me in a particular distance healing I received. A post script to this episode is that several weeks after the healing described here, I had a PET Scan to examine the further complication spots seen on earlier tests. None could be found. My lungs were clear.

I could hear my voice shaking and trembling as I began to speak. I could hear the crack in it as I began the familiar lilting melody of the Guru mantra, as I had sung so many times before. And as I continued onwards through the Ganesh mantra and into the final notes of the Gayatri….I could hear my voice get stronger and steadier.

I have never felt such a visceral difference in the power of those three opening prayers. Now more than ever, I could feel it in my bones.

The illusion nature of things is that everything is reversed. The yogis have a completely different attitude about death. It’s very liberating to hear their attitude and actually, I’d like to share some of that, something from Baba Muktananda.

Illness carries with it a lot of shame. But shame is an illusion, as is the illness. We can find our way through with our soul mates, non-judgment, love, self-love, reminders of our divine soul nature, some helpful mantras and processes, and surrender into our journey with joy.

The true soul nature of us is still there while we are ill. It is just in transition. With some help, it can be growing strong, even as the body weakens. Let us help each other to see and embody the divine nature of our illness journey. And no matter where that journey leads us, let us see and know God within ourselves.

One in nine women in the US have had breast cancer in their life time.  I would not have known that statistic, until I got the diagnosis of breast cancer too. Grief is an inescapable human experience. Just like death.

I’m of the mind that we have the emotional experience of grief because it allows for so much to be able to happen. It is…it can be, that transformative portal. But not when we handle it too much…We have to give it space. I’ve seen that move in lots of different ways.

IF we just allow for that energy to enter and we hold a vibration of stillness in its presence then really beautiful things can happen and individuals can have a truly transformative experience…We’ve all heard these stories of individuals who have near-death experiences and they left their bodies or had some experience of their bodies from outside themselves…

Everything in their life changes from that point on…we don’t have to have a near-death experience to be privy to that. We do not. Every time death moves into our circle we have that opportunity. We can have the same experience without being clinically dead…we can touch that and the grieving can touch that.

I am fond of saying that that the old expression “seeing is believing” should be understood differently from the spiritual perspective as “believing is seeing.”  Definitely, our beliefs guide our perceptions and how and what we can see.  When we believe in God, we can see the evidence of God is everywhere.

Silence is very healing. You won’t ever know that until you try it. You can’t learn about that by reading it in a book. You have to experience it. And the silence that someone who is really reaching in their own spiritual journey, the type of silence which that individual soul can cultivate in that space, again, is medicine. It is the deepest medicine in that space. Much more powerful than whatever is being pumped into their veins or through their bodies. And we’re all capable of that. But we have to turn towards, not away.

I talked about presence earlier - what is that? This is what I’m speaking to, is the opportunity to cultivate abiding awareness and attunement to another. We celebrate birth and then we deny death. The beauty and the joy that attend birth can also attend death, but we have lost sight of that. For our friends, our family, our community and the people who come in front of us.

Ramana Maharshi said, “Happiness Is the very nature of the Self; happiness and the self are not different.”

If that is true, why are so many of us not happy?  The world health organization estimates that 300 million people worldwide have depression.  More than that are experiencing occasional sadness, loneliness, or grief.  And in a 2016 Harris Poll of North Americans only 33% said they were happy.

If happiness is our nature of self, why aren’t we happy? And what can we know about getting happy?

What about the old things we did not admit and held, that have become a shame in us? That shame becomes an unworthiness. We need a process of not holding, and then self-forgiveness for those old mistakes. It is difficult to admit what we have been holding as our shame. We have to have the courage, to be honest and open-hearted. We are convinced people will reject us or see us and treat us differently. We need to find a place of unconditional love to admit it.

In modern society, we normally think of masculine and feminine in terms of the physiological, and psychological and social aspects of gender, gender assignment, and gender roles. These are interesting topics that have heated up in the last few years because we’ve been finding that the designations of these are much more fluid than science (or society) may have previously believed. However, today we’re really looking at something different from these kinds of categories. When we’re talking about the divine or sacred masculine or feminine we’re talking about energies of the creation.

If we can switch our perspective to come from the inside (soul, essence, creative source) to the outside or surface, (physical health, emotional, mental health) we will always be able to come from pure love and power. The surface needs will lessen, it becomes possible to change habits, to shift ways of being, to heal heartbreak. The undercurrent of the soul will be driving, and the outer current will respond.

The point is, once you surrender, even if you don’t want something but you really need it, he knows that and he gives that to you. If you need something, and your heart doesn’t want it, still he’ll give it. That is Baba.

Number two, at the same time if you want something only 50/50, not with a 100% open heart, like feeling, “Well, I want to see Mother Divine, it’s okay whether Mother Divine accepts me or not.” That’s not fair. You have to come with a determined mind, determined heart, that you want to see it, do or die. You need to fall in love with the Divine––really fall in love. Your soul has to really badly want to connect to it. That’s a kind of soul aching. You know soul aching? You want to communicate. You need to learn some channels. Such type of strong feeling you need to create. Not create; you need to raise them up. You understand?

For example, when you see an attractive girl, any special person, you can’t help it, you want to know their name and phone number. Then all the time that person is coming in your dreams. You can’t help it. Like that, you need to make a 100% commitment with the Divine that you’ll be there. Once your soul is really strongly committed, it’s done. Then you can leave it alone. It will happen. Absolutely, it will happen. You cannot escape it. God cannot escape from you.

Many people think, “Swami, I meditated for 30 years. I did some healings. I got some channels but I didn’t have any real experiences. Still I’m doing it in my life. I believe in God, I know God, I trust Him but I just don’t know.” It means you don’t have the right angle, right guidance, right way, right formula to reach Him. Do you understand? If you want to reach to some place crossing the desert, if you don’t have the perfect directions, forever and ever you are in the desert. If you don’t have the perfect guidelines, for ten years, or 1,000 years, or even 10,000 years, you’ll be forever in the desert. You need a perfect map. You need to know what you’re doing and somebody really needs to guide you until you reach your destiny. if there is no guidance, you’re lost. that is the major problem happening right now in spirituality.

There is so much about human consciousness that modern Western civilization is just starting to recognize. We have only begun to investigate and validate transcendent experiences through our modern way of knowing. Humans are capable of transcending the ego and experiencing unitive awareness and the fundamental oneness of non-duality. The feeling of deep connection with other individuals, with the earth, the ecosystem, and the cosmos is a real human experience. In these states, one's sense of identity extends beyond the individual and the persona.

Bijakshara is also defined as a “seed sound.” Sri Kaleshwar (1973 - 2012), a modern day saint, often used the seed as an analogy to describe a bijakshara. A seed, when planted and properly cared for with the right amount of water, sun, nutrients, and air, will begin to sprout and grow into a plant. How amazing that a seed can potentially produce a huge mango tree that will again produce more fruits with more seeds! How does that tree come out of that seed? The bijakshara acts like a seed, when cared for through a dedicated practice that includes utilizing mantras under sometimes very specific conditions, will grow into something amazing that will bear fruit and more seeds with more creative potential. Working with the mantras and energy channels from the palm leaf manuscripts is like planting a seed into a human soul and caring for that seed in a beautiful way. That fledgling human soul can grow into a beautiful mature soul capable of so much magnificence.

In case you aren’t familiar with the teachings of this lineage, they all come from palm leaf manuscripts that Sri Kaleshwar considered his life mission to share with the world. In this atmosphere, when he begged and pleaded and commanded his students to learn Telugu it created a huge pressure for me. I felt I had the ability to learn Telugu but simply couldn’t manage it. After 4 or 5 years passed in this way I remember telling Swami that personally I felt that without a teacher I had no confidence I could learn Telugu in any significant way. Swami eventually hired Telugu teachers to work with us. They were great people, dedicated and sincere, but being able to teach a language competently requires a special skill set. Needless to say, we went through three or four Telugu teachers with minimal results.

It's really great that we share with each other to the degree that its appropriate. We support each other and we ask each other for help when we need it. We give each other what we are able to give. In the context of that we should, we’re also developing a new kind of confidence in ourselves. Not a big megalomaniacal type of confidence, or a spiritual egoism, which is really a big trap. It's an authentic and accurate confidence based on personal experience that God is there, the Divine Mother is real She's in our lives and and this is how She flows in each of our lives.

Every person should know this truth – studentism is like slavery.  Studentism is feeling your master is God.  Don’t do that.  It’s a big crime.  Love a master as a friend, and as a brother.  Give your thanks to him.  If you have the bhakti way then you can touch his feet. In India, thousands of years back they found some supernatural things.  It’s being kept a secret.  The masters don’t release it to the public.  Or, even if they release it, they do not give perfect guidelines to implement it.  Students have nobody showing them how to drive the car.  What good is a car, no matter how beautiful it is, if you cannot drive it?  I know car driving.  I give the car keys to you.  I show you how to drive.  When you have a car and know how to drive you are a new person. Instead of driving their own car, so many people say, “Jesus is great, Shirdi Baba is great, Mother Divine is great.”  So what!  Ok, they are great.  So what!  When will you become great like that?  Do you want to be a slave forever and ever?  Why are they so great?  Why are you not that great? If you want to see the real thing – focus.  The person who is making you focus is not God.  He’s a friend who came in your life bringing light to push you.  On one level he’s a God to you, but the real God is what he experienced, what you are experiencing.

Krishnadevaraya was of the opinion that a King should always rule with an eye towards Dharma, or perfect judgement, and his enlightened approach to ruling for the welfare of the people is amply proved by his extensive annual tours around the empire, during which he studied everything personally and tried to redress the grievances of the people and to punish the evil doers.  With regard to the promotion of the economic progress of his people, Krishnadevaraya says, “The extent of the kingdom is the means for the acquisition of wealth. Therefore even if the land is limited in extent, excavate tanks and canals and increase the prosperity of the poor by leasing him the land for low rent, so that you may obtain wealth as well as religious merit.”

Annamayacharya was born in Andra Pradesh, and lived during the reign of Krishnadevarya. Veerabrahmendra, the great seer of India, was a 14th Century Avatar of Brahma. He is known for the ‘Kalagnana’, or ‘Knowledge of Time’, a collection of 14,000 verses written on palm leaves foretelling the astrology of the world. We too must awaken to our relationship with Jesus. Jesus’ consciousness will show our relationship to him, and what we are here to do. We each have to play our part, whatever that is. Each piece of the mosaic is required to create the perfect picture. None of us can fulfill this great mission on our own; it has been thousands and thousands of years in the making. We have to step up and play our role, winning through peace, forgiveness and love pouring from our hearts. “It’s a sign on your soul, guys,” Sri Kaleshwar said, “It’s a sign on your souls to be truthful, loyal to the divine energy, forever and ever until your last breath. You’re here for the society. You’re here for creating peace on the globe. You’re here to take care of the suffering people.”

From the Teachings of Sri Kaleshwar (Rendered by Monika of Penukonda)

I belong to the so-called “new students,” those who did not find Swami until after his Mahasamadhi and therefore never had the good fortune to see him in the physical body. There have been times I have felt deep regret that I never had the chance to sit opposite him and listen to his teachings, that I never heard his laughter or shared moments and deep experiences with him. However, I also realize the great grace that exists in my late recognition.

It began in 2003 when Sri Kaleshwar came to America to give a program in Northern California, specifically in the town of Petaluma at the Noetic Center.  There were 75 people who attended that program and it was a very powerful teaching.  What was particularly unique was that Sri Kaleshwar created a process group that would do its work only in America.  Up until that time, Sri Kaleshwar had set up numerous miraculous energy process groups involving hundred of students, but strictly in India.

If a person gets enlightenment, if that person has some more information in his hands, in his brain, and shares the God energy and the God information with another person…if he shares the knowledge with a friend who has no idea, it brings him a lot of energy. If you keep it to yourself like, ‘No, it’s private, it’s mine, I don’t want to leak this idea,’ if you make yourself selfish, it’s very difficult to grow yourself up. If you share whatever God information you received in your life with the people, it brings you much energy.

At the time, one of my big blocks was always expecting something.  I had a strong desiring character, and also a pretty good addiction to meditation. The process we were doing really was a pretty good meditation—trying to see her in everything, while chanting a formula, a vibrational code.  It was a mantra intended to connect our souls directly with the hidden greatness of Mother in nature, which is around us all the time through the Five Elements...

Then I rushed in. Seeing Her standing there was a shock. The room was filled with light She stood perfectly poised on a tiger skin. Stepping into the room was stepping into another world, Her world. She was indescribably beautiful. I never knew such beauty existed. She was absolutely dazzling. There was light coming from all around Her. She was self luminous. She was the source of the illumination and the light was illuminating Her at the same time––She was lit from everywhere. Even though She was this pure radiant light, I was shocked to see how real She was. There is nothing that can prepare you for that. As often as Swami had told us She would appear in a physical form, I couldn’t really comprehend it until I saw Her with my own eyes.

The spiritual seed on this planet started in India. It's true. On this globe, the top spirituality starting point is India. The ancient divine spiritual knowledge of supernatural saints from 2000-5000 years back who practiced powerful mantras and received the highest cosmic energy in their souls. They discovered the Vedas, the secret formula mantras, and the energy angels. Each king, each village sacrificed their life to connect to God. They all recognized the cosmic energy.
