We are not only in a Viral Crisis, but a ‘Crisis of Consciousness’ that is going Viral. How can we raise our consciousness in this crisis? Listen to this episode.
Profound or prolonged illness often times comes with fear, grief, pain and other negative thoughts and emotions. I think these are a natural part of illness. And it is natural for us to sometimes fall down into these thoughts and feeling. I also believe we can make it through the down times of illness and increase our soul, brain, and body capacity in the process. We can become something greater from illness. In this Episode we will explore how.
Sacrifice can be defined as, “to make sacred.” What a wonderful thought. To really sacrifice we must make something sacred. But how do we do this? We discuss this in this episode with practices that can make our life sacrifices sacred and return us to the sacred self within.
Sri Kaleshwar used to talk about the suffering of the Saints. He said the Saints could endure suffering in a way in which the “suffering was not suffering”. That phrase always fascinated me. But it became an obsession when I was having some suffering in my own life. What does this mean? How can we do this?
This personal experience of how miraculous energy works in Soul Healing, was recorded earlier in my breast cancer testing phase when I was still in New Mexico. I describe the powerful way soul healing worked for me in a particular distance healing I received. A post script to this episode is that several weeks after the healing described here, I had a PET Scan to examine the further complication spots seen on earlier tests. None could be found. My lungs were clear.
The illusion nature of things is that everything is reversed. The yogis have a completely different attitude about death. It’s very liberating to hear their attitude and actually, I’d like to share some of that, something from Baba Muktananda.
Illness carries with it a lot of shame. But shame is an illusion, as is the illness. We can find our way through with our soul mates, non-judgment, love, self-love, reminders of our divine soul nature, some helpful mantras and processes, and surrender into our journey with joy.
The true soul nature of us is still there while we are ill. It is just in transition. With some help, it can be growing strong, even as the body weakens. Let us help each other to see and embody the divine nature of our illness journey. And no matter where that journey leads us, let us see and know God within ourselves.
One in nine women in the US have had breast cancer in their life time. I would not have known that statistic, until I got the diagnosis of breast cancer too. I want to talk about it in this episode and in a series of episodes as I move through. There is a journey of the soul in every illness. Let's travel it together.
Grief is an inescapable human experience. Just like death.
I’m of the mind that we have the emotional experience of grief because it allows for so much to be able to happen. It is…it can be, that transformative portal. But not when we handle it too much…We have to give it space. I’ve seen that move in lots of different ways.
IF we just allow for that energy to enter and we hold a vibration of stillness in its presence then really beautiful things can happen and individuals can have a truly transformative experience…We’ve all heard these stories of individuals who have near-death experiences and they left their bodies or had some experience of their bodies from outside themselves…
Everything in their life changes from that point on…we don’t have to have a near-death experience to be privy to that. We do not. Every time death moves into our circle we have that opportunity. We can have the same experience without being clinically dead…we can touch that and the grieving can touch that.
I am fond of saying that that the old expression “seeing is believing” should be understood differently from the spiritual perspective as “believing is seeing.” Definitely, our beliefs guide our perceptions and how and what we can see. When we believe in God, we can see the evidence of God is everywhere.
Imagine that you are there with Jesus. Imagine you feel the power and love in him. See his face and body. See him talking to the multitudes. See yourself in that gathering. Imagine that you feel the inner draw to that divine energy. Imagine listening to his voice or being able to look into his face and eyes. Try to feel that feeling of devotion, divine energy, and love that must have been there.
I talked about presence earlier - what is that? This is what I’m speaking to, is the opportunity to cultivate abiding awareness and attunement to another. Who you know, and they know as well, is approaching the end of their life when the people who they expected to be doing that for them are not…what does it look like to have peace and what does it look like not to, and what’s important and what matters in that space and that time. Relationships matter. Community matters.
What if we saw everything we had to do as a moment for play? Doing the dishes, being in a meeting, putting together a class or report. What if we entered doing that assuming joy, choosing joy, finding joy?
We celebrate birth and then we deny death. The beauty and the joy that attend birth can also attend death, but we have lost sight of that. It’s in our grasp to reclaim that…thats what the vast majority of people who work in hospice are trying to do…changing the way that we handle that transition. For our friends, our family, our community and the people who come in front of us.
Ramana Maharshi said, “Happiness Is the very nature of the Self; happiness and the self are not different.”
If that is true, why are so many of us not happy? The world health organization estimates that 300 million people worldwide have depression. More than that are experiencing occasional sadness, loneliness, or grief. And in a 2016 Harris Poll of North Americans only 33% said they were happy.
If happiness is our nature of self, why aren’t we happy? And what can we know about getting happy?
You can live a life of Miracles. What better time than Christmas to start?
Christmas can be time of miracles. Whenever there are spiritual timings when many people have their thoughts on God, it is a good time to connect into the miraculous energy. In this episode I remind us of how we can do that. I challenge you: to try even one of the 4 approaches. I promise you: when you do, you will change. Miracles can be yours.
Despite being the one thing assured all of us, our culture does not equip us to be present to death. And, yet, it is no less magical, mystical, and transformative than birth. The act of compassionately companioning the dying is rich with blessings unavailable elsewhere. In this podcast, you will learn simple but profound ways to be present at the bedside, to create a sacred space of passage which, in turn, will return unimaginable gifts of spirit to you.
Everyone wants a miracle healing. With soul healing that is possible, but how do we get to that miracle. Then, even more importantly, how do we make that last? How do we turn that miracle energy of a healing into living a miraculous life?
What about the old things we did not admit and held, that have become a shame in us? That shame becomes an unworthiness. We need a process of not holding, and then self-forgiveness for those old mistakes. It is difficult to admit what we have been holding as our shame. We have to have the courage, to be honest and open-hearted. We are convinced people will reject us or see us and treat us differently. We need to find a place of unconditional love to admit it.
In modern society, we normally think of masculine and feminine in terms of the physiological, and psychological and social aspects of gender, gender assignment, and gender roles. These are interesting topics that have heated up in the last few years because we’ve been finding that the designations of these are much more fluid than science (or society) may have previously believed. However, today we’re really looking at something different from these kinds of categories. When we’re talking about the divine or sacred masculine or feminine we’re talking about energies of the creation.
I don’t know about you, but I have been getting a lot of testings. And they have been tough. I believe has been a timing in which the cosmic and astrological patterns have been heightening this. A couple of my loved ones have passed during this time. Perhaps you have lost someone as well. In addition, I have had other a personal testing in my ability to stand in my truth and in my heart. I know from those I have been talking to, others are having their own tests. So, this blog talk is about how to go through those testings in a positive way.
Join me as we explore the Terrain of Grief and Wrestle with the Questions: What is Grief? What does it have to offer us? And how do we Recover from it and Reclaim our Joy?
In my own personal life and when I was an organizational consultant, I noticed that most people have trouble with even well-phrased negative feedback. Any time we have to face criticism gives most of us some discomfort. But for some, it is a devastating experience. Though there are a lot of things to say about how to give criticism or negative feedback in a positive way, how to deal with taking criticism in a positive way is our topic for two episodes of Soul Talk.
“Be in the positive” is a state of being. A state of consciousness through which we view the world. When we are in that state it makes it automatic that starting the day we feel positive, we wake up that way. It makes ending the day in positive, your natural tendency. Like giving thank and gratitude for your day and life.
Though we have all heard that seeing is believing, in this episode we explore how believing is seeing, and faith can be an experience of God which manifests and recreates our lives.
Surrender is one of the keys to a spiritual life. It is a fundamental concept in many spiritual traditions. When we understand it, we realize it is a means of healing karmas, growing our souls, and growing our relationship with God and the energy of God within us.
It was 2002. I was sitting in a temple in an ashram in South India, it was late at night, my 3-year-old son squirming on my lap, nursing on and off and unable to rest or sleep. At the front of the brightly lit room was a colorful altar dedicated to Jesus, Mother Mary and Dattatreya. A young, beautiful saint, Sri Kaleshwar, was talking to a group of western students.
I remember the day so well. It would be my first time meeting Sri Kaleshwar, the Indian teacher who gave the beautiful mantra that I practiced during my pregnancy. My son Toby was about 5 months old when Swami came to Seattle for an intimate teaching program at my parents house. I had never meet a Guru before and aside from the list of instructions my mother had given me, I did not know what to expect. I had been instructed to ask him a question when an opportunity arose.
I am an advocate for creating soul nourishment as part of a daily routine, as a way of life. Looking first to the soul and then to the physical attributes of our lives. If we can switch our perspective to come from the inside (soul, essence, creative source) to the outside or surface, (physical health, emotional, mental health) we will always be able to come from pure love and power. The surface needs will lessen, it becomes possible to change habits, to shift ways of being, to heal heartbreak. The undercurrent of the soul will be driving, and the outer current will respond.

So really, it was the sum of all that that led me to finally meet my Guru and the greatest Master Healer by a long shot I’ve ever heard of or encountered personally, Sri Kaleshwar. My practice now fundamentally is based on what I learned in the fifteen years I studied with Sri Kaleshwar - both here (USA) and in India.
Leaving my mainstream medical practice in late 2000 was one of the hardest decisions I had ever faced. Ultimately, after 15 years as a practicing internist and general physician, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to study with one of the world’s greatest healers and spiritual masters, Sri Kaleshwar of Penukonda, India. For many years before meeting Sri Kaleshwar, I had literally researched all of the complementary medical fields that showed any clinical results, and while there was value in many forms of health care, allopathic, traditional Chinese, western herbology, acupuncture, etc, nothing that I had ever encountered came close to yielding the healing results of the ancient Indian knowledge.
If you have a lot of sicknesses, terrible family problems, tell all your problems, your unhappiness, your heart pain, and what you deeply want, tell everything to the fire. The fire will remove your problems. To receive a lot of high positive energy there is only one super high process, the fire ceremony. It takes away pain, it absolutely burns it. You will feel it. But you have to surrender with pure heart. It will really save your life, it will wash out all your pain.
Excerpt from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, tr. by Swami Nikhilananda, Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center, New York, 1973
Through our efforts to develop divine qualities in ourselves – love, kindness, gratitude, forgiveness, empathy, compassion, acceptance – we position ourselves to be a transformative healing presence, to respond and not react. Through our work to cultivate stitha pragnatha - a calm, balanced mind - we can create a refuge of solace at the bedside. The gift of bringing a calm, compassionate presence to companion the dying and their loved ones on their journey, something so simple, can be profoundly transformative. The power of this simple act cannot be overstated in my experience.
What is inner secrecy happening in the fire offering? The chanting of the Vedas, offering of flowers, coconuts, incense, sandalwood and ghee is called aghni putra. The aghni angels connect through the vibrations of the chanting of their mantras. It affects on you and it affects on the entire kingdom. When you’re chanting mantras, connecting to Mother Divine, adding the perfect objects to the fire, the sankalpam (intention) energy, the heart, then the vibrations to start to release from the fire.
Self-healing technique from the ancient knowledge to wash out and heal past and present heart pain from your life.
During the transition from the age of darkness into the light, there will be many changes as the world goes through a purification process. The challenges we will face will act as a catalyst for souls to return to spiritual ideals and values. Faith will be the refuge during these times, and loving and caring for one another a necessity. These events will serve to awaken humanity to their real purpose on Earth. It is special characteristic of this time, more than any other in history, that it is easier for souls to reach enlightenment than ever before. There will be a spiritual birth of many enlightened miraculous souls on the planet. As Swami Vivekananda described, “In time to come, Christs will be in numbers like bunches of grapes on a vine.” That time has started.
Nirvikalpa Samadhi is the state of pure consciousness, where there is no attachment or identification with one’s thoughts. Doing this powerful practice even for only a few minutes one can experience peace, clarity, and enter into meditation easily.
This video demonstrates how to do this simple and extraordinarily effective practice.
Look, this body is not permanent. One day we need to also get old. We don’t know what is going to happen. We need to love the humanity. If you cannot love the humanity, we don’t have the right to ask God for any gifts. God is nothing but doing the service to humanity. Once if you are doing the service to humanity, automatically God is taking care of you—all angles.
Discipline is the most important, my dear divine souls. If you lost the discipline you will be in trouble. Whatever you want to win it, until to you win it, keep try, keep try, try, try, try, try, try, try. Everything is possible in the planet. You have that capacity, capability. I didn't come here as a master. I came as your friend. I know something. You don't know something. Once if you know that what I know it, we're equal. I want to see you guys the most strongest powerful healers. Especially the America land, the soil of the land, it have that power. But you're not recognizing that.
We too must awaken to our relationship with Jesus. Jesus’ consciousness will show our relationship to him, and what we are here to do. We each have to play our part, whatever that is. Each piece of the mosaic is required to create the perfect picture. None of us can fulfill this great mission on our own; it has been thousands and thousands of years in the making. We have to step up and play our role, winning through peace, forgiveness and love pouring from our hearts. “It’s a sign on your soul, guys,” Sri Kaleshwar said, “It’s a sign on your souls to be truthful, loyal to the divine energy, forever and ever until your last breath. You’re here for the society. You’re here for creating peace on the globe. You’re here to take care of the suffering people.”
What is enlightenment? When you recognize yourself, who you are, where you came from, where you’re going, and what is your duty on this planet. If you receive the perfect information about that, that is called enlightenment...
Before I met my master Sri Kaleshwar I had been working as an energy healer for 15 years, dedicating my life to serving the Divine Feminine and the Divine Mother. Though a part of me wished to meet a master I never searched for one because of a deep fear I had about what would happen if he or she died, how would I deal with the pain? How would I survive when he was gone? It was my brother who came across Swami Kaleshwar and after a big inner ordeal we decided to go and meet Him on his ashram in Penukonda, India. Before I actually met Swami I realized he was my master, but I was still overwhelmed and anxious about my fear of eventually being separated from him.
I belong to the so-called “new students,” those who did not find Swami until after his Mahasamadhi and therefore never had the good fortune to see him in the physical body. There have been times I have felt deep regret that I never had the chance to sit opposite him and listen to his teachings, that I never heard his laughter or shared moments and deep experiences with him. However, I also realize the great grace that exists in my late recognition.
My first experience of Swami was at the 2009 Chandra Nadi program at the Divine Lineage Healing Center in Laytonville, CA.... where he didn't show up. Instead, he called in live from India. So, we listened to Swami’s voice over loud speakers as we looked at his picture on a big screen at the front of the tent that had been set up for this process. Because my friend and I we were new to this path we had on special colored scarves and sat in the front row. I was struggling to understand what he was saying, and I shall never ever forget when he recited the diksha (rules) for the Chandra Nadi meditation process. I understood him to say that not only would we have to give up meat during this process, but also we were to have no fork. I looked at the people around me and thought — how on earth do we eat with no fork? Of course, it has become a funny and very fond memory of this beautiful first moment with Swami Kaleshwar because he had said no pork.
If a person gets enlightenment, if that person has some more information in his hands, in his brain, and shares the God energy and the God information with another person…if he shares the knowledge with a friend who has no idea, it brings him a lot of energy. If you keep it to yourself like, ‘No, it’s private, it’s mine, I don’t want to leak this idea,’ if you make yourself selfish, it’s very difficult to grow yourself up. If you share whatever God information you received in your life with the people, it brings you much energy.
A young man will come—at the turn of this millennium—with a special relationship to Mother Divine. He will live by the holy mountain in Penukonda. The Mother, Adishakti Parashakti, will receive his worship and answer his prayers. He will be an incarnation of love who will bring Her energy to the world. He will come to take care of the planet and bring extraordinary knowledge and light. To see him once will be a blessing for a person’s whole lifetime. If you have faith in him, you will automatically receive the shakti from him. He will spread the supernatural power channels to every soul who is interested, and will bring Jivanmukti (liberation) to the world.
At the time, one of my big blocks was always expecting something. I had a strong desiring character, and also a pretty good addiction to meditation. The process we were doing really was a pretty good meditation—trying to see her in everything, while chanting a formula, a vibrational code. It was a mantra intended to connect our souls directly with the hidden greatness of Mother in nature, which is around us all the time through the Five Elements...
