It is said that if you visit this temple even once in your life, all of your suffering (karmas) will end. The Divine Mother’s womb is the source where we all came from – Her energy can bless, heal, and create anything. The Kamakhya temple is one representation of Her womb in the five elements (this world).
For me, something tremendous happened the first time I heard the 108 names of Shirdi Sai Baba sung in pure devotion. It was my first night in the Baba temple at Sri Kaleshwar's ashram in Penukonda, India. As I sat in front of the Baba statue for the first time in that way, listening to this long chanting of what at the time felt like an impossibly long twister, I felt a deep silence and peace descending over my mind. As my mind became quiet it felt like my soul started to listen, it was a similar feeling to drinking cool sweet water after going a very long time without anything to drink on a very hot day.

The 26-hour long fire ceremony at the Divine Lineage Healing Center on New Year's Eve was very successful. We connected with thousands of people in over 1518 locations and 62 countries to send love, peace, and kindness like an arrow into the New Year.
In this time of darkness we should think and act positively together to create change.
With the generous support of so many, we came together on Thursday, December 22nd, and created 93 baskets for families in poverty here in the county. Today, families all across Mendocino County are enjoying hot chocolate around warm propane burners, pre-heating ovens for twenty-pound turkeys, and melting butter for tasty mashed potatoes. Over 500 men, women and children were fed by our efforts this year. As we sit down tonight with our loved ones, or awake tomorrow morning to a tree full of goodies, let's all take a moment to reflect on those who are less fortunate than ourselves and feel gratitude for the love we have for one another.
